Hitler in the Crosshairs: A GI’S Story of Courage and Faith is written by Dr. John Woodbridge Research Professor of Church History and Christian Though at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and Maurice Possley a Pulitzer Prize winning author.  This book quite simply is one of the finest pieces of literature I have ever read. This book chronicles the story of Teen Palm a boy who was gifted musically who rose to a Colonel by the end of his military career. Along the way this story details the medals Teen Palm won and the legacy this man left.

One of greatest strengths of this book is the story of Teen Palm. Mr. Palm was a man of great courage, action and had a strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The central theme if there is one in this book is the life and witness of Teen Palm and the difference his life made because of his love for the Lord Jesus Christ. This book is categorized as history/military/World War II but I think it should also be considered a Christian biography as it tells of the legacy Teen Palm had during his life and now in death.

This is a book for everyone to read and to learn more about what happened during World War II by learning about the life, work and testimony of Teen Palm. I believe many people—whether they are scholars or not, but who are interested in military history will find this book fascinating.  I’m thankful for the authors work and encouraged by the testimony of Teen Palm and the godly legacy he has left. I encourage you to pick up this book and learn from Teen Palm about what it takes to leave a godly legacy that will last generations.
