by | Mar 27, 2016 | Equipping You in Grace, Featured

Today I interview Jonathan Holmes about his new book The Company We Keep In Search of Biblical Friendship (Cruciform Press, 2014). Listen as we talk about his life, ministry, and upcoming writing projects, why so little is written on biblical friendship, and what ministry leaders can do to promote a biblical view of friendship in their ministries. We also discuss the marks and purpose of biblical friendship, how to pursue a friendship with pastors and confrontation, and dealing with hurt in friendship.

About the Author:

Jonathan Holmes serves at Parkside Church in Cleveland, Ohio as the Pastor of Counseling. He graduated with degrees in Biblical Counseling and History from The Master’s College and a master’s degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Jonathan and his wife, Jennifer, have three children. Jonathan also serves on the Council Board of the Biblical Counseling Coalition.
