With academic training in theology and ethics, my passion is to train believers to be better equipped as Christians in our contemporary setting. The purpose of all that I communicate is to provide worldview training that encourages solid Christian thinking about every area of life. Ultimately my hope and prayer is for my ministry to give God all the glory, honoring the Creator-creation distinction. Over the years God has allowed me to serve the Kingdom in a variety of capacities. I’ve been a guest on various radio programs including the John and Kathy Show (Pittsburg) and Prime Time America (Moody Broadcasting Network). As well, I have served as a co-chair of the Church-Bioethics Network at The Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity and have testified before the Illinois State Legislature on embryonic stem cell research and human egg donation. As an adjunct instructor of ethics at McHenry County College, I had the opportunity to engage people of all ages on matters of ethics, especially those issues that impact their daily lives. A member at The Orchard Church in McHenry, Illinois, the Flashing family lives in Harvard, Illinois. I have a B.A. Christian Ministry, Trinity International University, 2002 and an M.A. Christian Thought, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, 2005.
